Galloper Offshore Wind Farm is located 27km off the coast of Suffolk and generates 353MW, the wind farm represents an investment of around £1.5 billion. It is estimated that the average annual generation expected at the site will be equivalent to the approximate domestic needs of more than 380,000 average UK households. The 353MW Galloper Wind Farm is owned by RWE Renewables, Siemens Financial Services, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets,  Sumitomo Corporation and ESB.  The project is operated from a state-of-the-art, purpose-built Operations & Maintenance facility in Harwich International Port by RWE Renewables on behalf of the project partners.

Reporting to the General Manager, The Team Administrator will have a business administration background and be directly responsible for managing the training for 30 members of staff, raising purchase requests processing invoices, procuring office supplies and corporate clothing and providing general administration support to the wider management team.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for creation of purchase requests for goods and services.
  • Management of  training for the site-based team of ~30 persons including the upkeep of the training matrix and certification register
  • Ordering of goods and services using purchasing cards or online catalogues
  • Support Line managers in the onboarding of new starters
  • Act as the Galloper IT administrator
  • Contact Management – greeting of guests, organisation of facilities and  services
  • Support the Business and Stakeholder coordinator with local community events, educational visits , team events and sponsorship coordination.
  • Support the Galloper Management team with administration services including meeting support, document management, action tracking.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Organised, conscientious and a capable business administrator
  • Formal qualification in business administration
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable
  • Experienced in SharePoint or similar document management systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, excel, outlook, teams
  • Capable of supporting the wider Galloper team as needs arise and at short notice
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage at multiple corporate levels.
